I don't usually update my journal, but as I've submitted more stuff to DA today then in the last couple of months, I thought "eh, what the heck". Skip the italicized text if you don't care about my everyday life.

Well, college is as college should be, I guess; time consuming. In my last class update, I was told that I basically have to redo in one week what I've prepared in a month. Good thing the final presentation isn't 'till later this month.

In other news, I've become more confident when drawing by hand, but I still don't feel confident drawing with a tablet. Maybe if I could project the image into the tablet... that's genius! Mwahahahaaa!!!

Changing topics again, I'm replaying Brave Story, as I abruptly discontinued play after getting ravaged by a crazed monster after a long 'no save' session. Mana Khemia, suffers from even less save points, and proves just how lazy developers can be. Don't buy this game on PSP; if you want to play it, get the PS2 version. Don't give them the satisfaction. Plus, less loading screens on PS2; much less.


Alright, on to news:

PSP-4000 Confirmed; Developer Squeals

An announcement from an anonymous developer revealed that Sony is going to fire another PSP from it's production line, probably nicknamed "Skynet", by the end of the year (screwing over PSP-3000 owners in the process).

The PSP has allegedly done away with the UMD tray (what are we going to do with all our UMD's at home, by the way?).

...Seriously, the machine is supposedly going to have a closeable screen; in the closed position, the face buttons will be hidden, while the shoulder buttons are still accessible. So Sony went around asking developers to make games that only use the shoulder buttons. Like Loco Roco.

On a more technical side, it's rumored the new PSP will sport the same screen technology as the 3000; I just hope the up the RAM and processor a bit, at least for the sake of the internet browser.
